Alf, the founding member and Managing Director of Keystone Project Recruitment (KPR), has vast experience
in recruiting, management and execution of projects, in the industrial, minerals and mining sectors.
In addition to managing the business, Alf still actively recruits, and his portfolio comprises the
development of talent networks for Project Managers, Lead and Discipline Engineers, HSQE Managers,
Project Controllers, Project Planners, Procurement & Contract Personnel, Financial Administrators
and Marketing Managers.
Alf’s professional experience and proficiency includes Business Management, Design & Engineering of
Conveyor System, Project Execution Management and Business Development. Alf is a Mechanical Engineer
by profession, previously registered (Reg No 997002) as a Professional Technologist Mechanical Engineering.
He is currently registered as a Professional Construction Manager (Reg. No. D885/2005)
After founding KPR (Previously Exclusive Technical Personnel) in 1984, Alf founded and managed
Exclusive Technical Services, originally a Conveyor Design and Construction Contractor that evolved
into a single source, multi-discipline Design and Construction Project Management Company, specialising
in the provision of Bulk Materials Handling Systems and ROM (Run of Mine) Communication Plants. After
twenty years of success, Exclusive Technical Services was integrated into Sandvik Materials Handling a
division of Sandvik Mining & Construction in November 2005.
Having proven her strong financial and administrative capabilities, Zenobia’s career advanced rapidly
within KPR, beginning as secretary in 2003 and being promoted through the organisation, particularly
within the financial department. Zenobia achieved her ICB Financial Accounting Qualification in 2018
but has also completed a host of courses in a wide range of subjects, from First Aid to Payroll Tax,
Skills Development and People Management.
She is committed to furthering her studies and continually expanding her knowledge and skills. Zenobia is
keenly aware of the fact that her experience in the workplace makes her uniquely able to coach and mentor
her team. She is actively involved in the nurturing and empowerment of her staff, especially young black
women who show promise, but lack the skills and efficiency to advance themselves. By sharing her knowledge
and personal experiences, she empowers her mentees in a highly personal and relatable way.
As a core member of the Executive Team at KPR, Zenobia was directly involved in the formulation and
establishment of Keystone Youth Academy (KPA) and remains committed to helping transform the industry,
one young person at time.
John has been involved in the Mining, Minerals and Petrochemical Industries related to engineering
design and consulting services for more than thirty years having begun his career at De Beers Mine,
John joined KPR in 2003 and has made a significant contribution in establishing the business as one of
the leading temporary recruitment companies in SA. In addition to his role as General Manager, John
also actively sources talent for our clients, focusing on the recruitment of Engineering Technical skills from Lead Design and Project Engineers to Chief Draughtsman, Draughtsman, and any other project execution manpower requirements clients seek.
His track record and outstanding technical knowledge and personal network of skilled professionals means
that his reputation results in repeat business and many referrals. John holds a National Diploma in
Mechanical Engineering, a Diploma in Business Management and an international Sales & Management
Prior to joining KPR, John utilised extensive experience working in mining and petrochemical companies to
begin his career as a Technical Engineering specialist recruiter, utilising his in-depth understanding of
clients’ businesses to source and secure the right skills.
Hanno van Wyk
Business Development Consultant
Hanno joined KPR in 2012 as a consultant but has been actively involved with Contract Engineering
Recruitment related to the Mining Minerals and Metallurgical Industries since 2005. He is responsible
for the management of key account clients, attracting new clientele and selecting suitable candidates
to fulfil and meet client’s specific project requirements.
Prior to being involved in engineering recruitment, Hanno was employed and trained in the pharmaceutical
industry as a Technician. He was part of a project team trained by the CSIR, responsible for implementing
and improving production output, enhanced work method performance systems and on-going development of
process systems and operating standards. Hanno holds a Diploma in First Line Management from the
Production Management Institute of SA, and this, combined with his experience assists him to understand
the nuances of skills and their application within technical environments.
Leader Development Coach
With more than 30 years’ experience in a range of organisations, Getti brings a wealth of
knowledge of both people and organisational development. Getti has a Social Science Masters’
degree from UCT and has extensive experience in senior leadership roles in a wide range of
contexts. In 2008, he completed his initial coach training at the University of Stellenbosch
Business School. Getti is a certified Ontological and Organisational and Relationships
Systems (ORSC) coach and works extensively with the Enneagram personality typing assessment
and is accredited to work with the Enneagram both with individuals and teams.
Getti is certified as a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) by the International Coach
Federation (ICF) and credentialed as a coach by Coaches and Mentors of South Africa (COMENSA).
Lindy joined KPR two-and-a-half years ago and has been promoted to a
managerial role after her excellent and efficient performance as Payroll
Administrator. When she’s not managing the timesheets and ensuring a
compliant pay-run, Lindy enjoys spending time with family and at Church.
Nicoleen is new to the KPR team and says she was attracted to the company because of its
professionalism, great team working environment and the systems that are in place.
She enjoys supporting the business development and recruitment consultants in
delivering great service to clients and candidates. Nicoleen enjoys learning and
developing herself and believes that recruitment industry will afford her great
Receptionist / Administrative Support
Blossy has a Diploma in Business Management and although new to the KPR
team has a great track record in efficiency and effectiveness having been
awarded Intern of the Year 2016 in her previous company. She loves the
positive environment and the fact that everyone lives the Values within KPR. Blossy enjoys the growth opportunities presented to her, particularly the support and guidance she receives from her line manager.
Catering & Cleaning
A stalwart within the KPR team, Beauty keeps things spic ‘n span and the consultants going
with her famous cappuccinos. Over the past two decades, Beauty has become an invaluable
member of the team and says she loves working at KPR because she sees the investment the
company makes in developing their employees.
